I'm a professional photographer, a clinical mental health therapist, married 10 years to my husband, and completely obsessed with our two babies. Before any of that I was a street photographer wandering around Chicago with a camera, which is still how I think about light and moments. Off the clock you'll find me playing guitar, making pottery, or elbow-deep in some other craft project.
I've spent 12 years helping women see themselves the way the people who love them already do. Here's the part I don't lead with but should: I've struggled with my own body and confidence for most of my life, and I started this work because I knew helping other women feel at home in their bodies would be healing for me too. Every client walks in a little nervous. Hair and makeup goes first, and that's usually where I get the first "oh my gosh" — it's already working before we've taken a single photo. I make myself more awkward than they are so we can loosen up together, and by the time we're shooting, the nerves are gone. When they see the back of the camera for the first time, that's the moment.
And at the reveal, they're always stunned by what I saw through the lens the whole time. I hold a Master's in Psychology and one in Theology and I'm a clinical mental health therapist, so the whole experience is built to feel emotionally safe first, camera-ready second. You don't need posing experience. You just need to show up.
I moved to Chicago from Baltimore over 12 years ago and never left. I'm drawn to bold over soft, dark and editorial over bright and airy, a little rock 'n' roll. With over 20 years of experience behind the camera, I’ve found my true passion in boudoir photography. It's not just the beautiful images we create, but because of the joyful and healing journey that begins when a woman starts to see herself in a new light.
I’m continually inspired by the courage, vulnerability, and strength women bring into the studio. There’s something incredibly powerful about witnessing a woman’s transformation, from the moment she walks through the door, sometimes feeling nervous or unsure, to the moment she begins to let her true self shine. Watching her stand taller, embrace her beauty, and reconnect with her confidence is one of the greatest gifts of what I do.
As a woman who has navigated the joys, changes, and complexities of life and motherhood, I understand how easy it can be to put yourself last. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to embrace every part of who you are.

I spend much of my time every year taking classes to better my skills and fine tune my photography and posing to give you the very best boudoir session you deserve. I train my associate photographer Kaitlin with all of the new and exciting photography techniques, along with some unique creative perspectives, plus posing direction.
